How it Works
Through our partnership with Department of Labour, Skills and Immigration and SkillsPass, a training management platform, you can access a library of online courses, training, and webinars specific to our industry. SkillsPass training programs are designed to help leaders, managers, employees, and job seekers develop the necessary skills to succeed in today’s workforce.
Leaders and Managers
SkillsPass has an experience for Employers and Managers. Employers are able to create a private portal to oversee all staff and all their training done via the IONS SkillsPass Marketplace. Easily track and manage employee training, and ensure your staff are well equipped to help your organization succeed.
Employees

About IONS
The Impact Organizations of Nova Scotia (IONS) is committed to the success and sustainability of a vibrant network of over 6000 nonprofit and voluntary sector organizations that collectively contribute $1.7billion in direct, indirect and spinoff benefits to the gross domestic product (GDP) of Nova Scotia. We connect, advocate for, and provide training opportunities to nonprofits, social enterprises and voluntary organizations across the province.
Acknowledgement
We acknowledge that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which Mi’kmaq and Wolastoqiyik (Maliseet) People first signed with the British Crown in 1725.
The treaties did not deal with surrender of lands and resources but in fact recognized Mi’kmaq and Wolastoqiyik title and established the rules for what was to be an ongoing relationship between nations.
